Minibuses: Hong Kong's Unique Transport

Minibuses (小巴) are 16-seat public light buses that serve as an important part of Hong Kong's transport network. There are two types: green and red.

    1. Wave to stop the minibus

    3. Shout "有落!" (yau lok) when you want to get off

    4. Pay as you exit (red) or when boarding (green)

  • "唔該有落" (m goi yau lok) - "Please let me off"
  • "前面有落" (chin min yau lok) - "Getting off at the front"
